Kai Heartlife is a filmmaker, videographer, editor, juggler, and poet from the San Francisco Bay Area. She has worked to create videos for nonprofits including the Human Rights Data Analysis Group, Bay Area Creative, and EarthCapades Environmental Vaudeville. A graduate of The Oxbow School, she has created multiple short films and edited countless freelance projects. She specializes in experimental film, using a blend of collage-based stop-motion animation and traditional cinematography to create and showcase emotional and visually appealing worlds.
